Hello all! Only a couple more weeks until the end of the quarter, and if there is one thing I have seen, it is that people cope with this fact very differently. Some have become hermits, living in the corners of computer labs and quiet study areas in order to stay on top of everything. Some have disappeared from class to exercise their social wings at every chance they get, uncaring of the repercussions on their GPA. Still others have embraced procrastination, living with the constant threat of deadlines and the fleeting oxytocin of TikTok. Nevertheless, they all have one thing in common: summer will be here soon.
Coincidentally, summer is the theme of this week’s issue. Read the feature to learn about the benefits of internships. Check out the film column to gain an appreciation for the movie “The Florida Project” which views the world from the point of view of a child at Disney world in the summer. Take a look at the religion column and hear one student’s experience working literature evangelism over the summer. This week, be sure to read all of the articles so that you will be fully prepared for this summer!
